This year post 6992 has elected Hannah Hicks as Post Commander. This is a notable event, as she is the first female commander of this post. Hannah is an active member of the VFW. She has attended multiple state conventions and conferences, participates in the post color guard, and has taken on website management and advertisements. Most recently, she was the soloist for the memorial service at the State Convention.

Hannah enjoys hiking, hunting and being outdoors. She has two teens and owns her own practice, providing trauma therapy virtually.
